Football is one of the most celebrated games in the world. Kenya is one top countries in the list followed by other African countries. Know what is going on in Spain, Italy, England and other big leagues. This is the country where football betting is done by a large number of people and some times you can hear of deaths just because a certain team has lost. Though this is the case, the performance in the African leagues is not their main interest. In fact they would rather sleep for one hour and watch the western people play.
When it comes to our leagues here in Africa, Kenya always loses. I have noticed their hard work and the coaches have been very good in performing their duties. But the question is why do we always lose to other teams? This years Harambee starts have been able to play with other teams. Look at what happened to the Africa cup match, they only won one game. Now it is cecafa which is going on in the eastern region of our continent.
The first game Kenya lost to cranes but luck was on our side yesterday as southern Sudan lost to us. While watching the game I could see the starts struggle to defeat this young team. This is what resulted too many questions about our team.
Yesterday Kenya got some points after winning the match, now we are all waiting to see them playing with other teams like Ethiopia. Hopefully we will win
Going through the documentary of Kenyan football this year, you will notice that even with our football heroes who we boast with worldwide the starts are also defeated. These are people who are playing for the big teams in the world and their talent can be seen. What happens when they are playing in our national team?
Look at the African famous teams like Senegal which was once alive. What happened that we cannot hear it in the African cup of nations? Bafana Bafana could not keep it in the field even in their land. This was a great shame to the continent especially remembering that people fueled their cars from north to south, east to west singing it is time for Africa.
Egypt, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Ghana, Algeria have been the African football stars. They have produced international players that are known in the globe. They are the stars who are eating from their talents. But what happens when they come to play in Africa? Is the soil or climate not favorable? Do they have a heart for their motherland? I believe they have. But what happens is the biggest question.
I have noticed this is not only happening in Kenya looking back in the world football cup in South Africa. We had faith in our team, we could sing Drogba, Yaya Toure, Essien, Pienaar, Antar Yahia we could see Eto’o scoring for us and making the other team leave the cup in Africa. But the performance was down!
Look at the African leading teams that we on our eyes, they all lost to the white people. Actually that is where this game came from. No wonder why they win every time and keep record.

When hunting Africans could run chasing an animal. This made them exercise for the running game. If you take a look you will find that athletics is done very well in this continent inside and worldwide. Africans are known, the African country’s national anthems must sound in the stadiums as long as they are there. The flags have to represent our beautiful continent. We should migrate into athletics. If not that we can sell our players to the international teams where they can perform better.
