While Kenyans were busy complaining about the increase of the price of milk, Governor Evans Kidero straight from his trips to China, became very busy. A lot of people have been wondering why he went so quiet. The fact is, he has been busy trying to figure out a way to take more money from Kenyans than the VAT bill ever could.
It is always half past midnight when Kenyans understand what is going on around them. They are too busy watching Tusker Project Fame to care. That is until they wake up and try to park their car in the city center and are told that they have to part with ksh.300
The last time this happened, we had the passing of the VAT Bill 2013. As Kenyans were busy talking about bloody pigs at the door steps of parliament buildings, MP’s were busy passing the VAT Bill.
You will find these slow Kenyans on twirra complaining about things they can’t do anything about. This bill was passed a month ago but the wise Kenyan only got to know about it yesterday after it was trending on twirra!
